In the course of the agreement that was first revealed for VentureBeat, Proletariat WOTLK Gold will become an official Blizzard studio. Its 100 employees will help in developing the game WoW and the Dragonflight expansion due to launch this year. The latest game from Proletariat, Spellbreak, is shutting down.

This is the latest expansion for Blizzard it's been a while since the long-running Activision studio Vicarious Visions was recently folded into Blizzard for the purpose of contributing to its World of Warcraft franchise.

Terms of Blizzard's deal for Proletariat were not made public The deal is the company's first major purchase since it bought Swinging Ape in 2005.

John Hight, the general manager of World of Warcraft at Blizzard The deal to buy Proletariat will assist Blizzard stay ahead of the requirements of the WoW player base.

"As you probably are aware that people playing World of Warcraft have a huge appetite for content" Hight said. "And what we've learned during the last few years is that we're needed to expand in the quantity of material we're creating, as well as how often we're placing it in the hands members."

Hight said Proletariat is an ideal match for Blizzard since the team is proficient in medieval fantasy as well as stylized art, two of buy WOTLK Classic Gold the main themes for WoW. Blizzard began discussions with Proletariat in December 2021 and the studio has been working with Blizzard since May of this year.
